Finally! A Collage App that does what I want it to do! I guess the phrase “All things come to those who wait” really does apply when it comes to technology.

The tactile photo-editing capability is really taking off in a monumental way. Excellent photo-editing apps like IPhoto and PS Touch have pretty much led the way in this revolution.

And now the Layout creators have taken the collage-making experience to a similar and equally exciting new level. The developers have stretched the boundaries of what one is capable of accomplishing with a finger swipe when trying to create the perfect collage. It really is brilliant.

This App has so much going on but my favorite, apart from being able to finger-swipe your own collage into sections, is the face detection capability. It nicely complements Apple’s original vision and implementation of this concept.

I also love the manner in which one can add captions – not only to the entire collage but also to each picture in the collage. Very nice. And the background color matching is superb as well. Oh, who am I kidding? I love everything about this Layout App.
