Apple Event Is Set To Introduce Some BlockBuster Products On September 12th’
It’s September! Yes. It is! And for Apple fans, this means another Apple Event is upon us. And this one promises to be a doozy!
On Tuesday, September 12th, Apple will reveal some major new products at the spanking brand new and very posh Steve Jobs Theatre. I cannot wait to see this gorgeous theatre. It sounds pretty amazing.
So it is only fitting that the product revelations match the aura and opulence of this new theatre, named after Apple co-founder, Steve Jobs. As you can see from the photo featured above, three new iPhones are set to be unveiled to the public. Wow. Impressive.
However, I am confused over why they went from an iPhone 8 Plus to an iPhone X. Ordinarily, X is the Roman Numeral for number 10, so where is the iPhone 9? Is 9 a superstitious number in the tech world? I am confused.
On the other hand, it could just mean X as in X -tra. And the word on the street is that this iPhone X is going to be a step above the other two ( okay, maybe 2 steps above. Who knows?) and will cost somewhere in the area of $1000 a $1200.
Okay, let that sink in. A phone that costs more than some iPads. Or computers. Or pretty much anything I own. I hope it can cook my meals and make my bed – then we can talk about the price.
What is this phone going to do? I am intrigued. Aren’t you?
Some or all of these phones will have Face ID which means that instead of a fingerprint sensor, your face will unlock your phone. Okay, that’s cool. I am sick of the Touch ID anyway.
I am also interested in the Apple TV upgrade. I am not into gaming really but I am hoping that the videos will be even better and brighter and faster with 4K capability.
And, where is that Apple TV Subscription service? Please let it be a reality today. Where I live, I cannot even watch CNN Live on the CNN App. I know – first world problems – but it is pretty annoying.
And Augmented Reality and Home Pod?
I will try to provide live updates but I am having a busy day tomorrow. So, remember, you can live stream this event on Apple.Com and/or your Apple Event App on your Apple TV.
Have funfellow Apple geeks and share your thoughts in the comments section.
